DND has supported IMI Inc. in its research of medical applications for Low Energy Photonic (LEP) Therapy for a number of years. Dr. Salansky’s project using LEP in the treatment of skin ulcers, wounds and post traumatic conditions, was thoroughly reviewed by prior awarding the grants.

The results of IMI effort were most satisfying and promising, demonstrating quite clearly the curative impact of LEP and IMI’s competence in effective photon delivery equipment.

This technology has applications to DND & NATO, pertaining to the treatment of injuries on the battlefield & civilian medical marketplace particularly for the alleviation of Canadian healthcare cost.

Head DIR program

Many of my patients with Carpal Tunnel Syndrome and other Repetitive Strain Injuries have received Low Energy Photon Therapy (LEPT) IMI Inc over the past few years with beneficial results. The patients have reported significant improvements in symptoms such as a reduction in frequency and severity of nocturnal pain and numbness, increased functional tolerance and decreased use of painkillers. A recovery in clinical signs such as Tinel’s and Phalen’s has been recorded.
